There are a few things I love about The High Line: 1) its proximity to Chelsea Market (and therefore a good picnic spot when weather's nice), 2) the greenery, and 3) art installations.
I decided to take advantage of the nice weather this Labor Day weekend to take a stroll along the High Line, and I was not disappointed. There was a cute Smart car, or "Smart Tree," by Nari Ward -- a smart car refinished with tire treads and sprouting an apple tree from the roof. This will be on display through March 2017.
